PRACTICAL Experience... 

Our intensive workshop immerses you in the professional rehearsal room over a condensed intensive 2 week course. You will take on a role, develop your character and rehearse a full-length play under the guidance of a professional director.

The best experience is practical experience. This course was designed to give you just that; the chance to develop a character under industry standard rehearsal conditions.

 

You’ll be cast in a role and rehearse a play under the guidance of a professional director - working closely to develop your character through text analysis, scene work, movement, blocking & staging.​ 

In addition you'll learn the intricacies of the professional rehearsal space; how a room is run, the various roles within it and most importantly, what is expected of you as an actor in a fully rehearsed production.

 

No other course provides such a real and comprehensive environment. Gain valuable skills and a credit for your CV. 

Who is suitable for this course? ​

  • Those with some experience looking to develop their skills in a professionally run environment. 

  • Those interested in sharpening the fundamentals of the actors craft & professional rehearsal process.

  • Those considering further education in the performing arts.

Entry Requirements:

  • There is no audition or selection process - if you feel the course is suitable for you then you can proceed to booking.

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have a confident command of the English language.
